THE WAKEFIELD & MILTON DIARIES DVD

Following the successful release of "The Horsepole Files", The Wakefield & Milton Diaries is a further compilation of mainly sidecar racing footage filmed on 8mm Ciné film during the sixties and early seventies from locations all over Europe including Great Britain, Belgium, France, Holland & Germany. The film was recorded by various members of the Wakefield family and friends as an amateur  private record. The film was shot mainly at the Grands Prix rounds and includes many of the top sidecar teams of the day, including Jack Beeton, Florian Camathias, Chris Vincent, Max Deubel, Helmut Fath, Fritz Scheidegger, Owen Greenwood, Bill Boddice, and of course Tony Wakefield & Graham Milton.  Some screenshots below:

N.B. DVD's are appropriately labelled with a title against a nostalgic sidecar background but are sent out in cardboard mailer sleeves for ease of packaging, distribution and to minimize cost, i.e.. no "frills".  Presentation cases can be obtained locally from your High Street. store at little cost ( if intended as a gift etc.). This, of course, in no way affects the content, which is recorded at the best possible quality bearing in mind that the original content was shot on 8mm Ciné film. The Ciné was transferred to digital videotape and then edited utilizing a desktop PC with Pinnacle 9.3 software and burned to DVD utilizing almost all the 4.7 gigabytes of space at the highest quality setting. Running time is approximately 60 minutes.
