We searched for ages in the rubble where the outfit had been located in Hall 5

and collected most of the handles, stays and brackets that had fallen off when the brazing had melted. In particular we were pleased to recover the front fairing stay with the rev counter mounting brackets.We placed all the recovered items in this box

- but when we returned to collect the salvage (after the insurance had been settled), the box had vanished, even though it had been left with the machine. The box and contents have still not been located, even though exhaustive enquiries were made with the museum staff.
