Another milestone. Over the weekend we have received the completed front wheel from Chris and a pretty good job he has made of it too. The wheel has been built onto the Rickman hub using one of the spare Dunlop 16 inch rims and we have purchased a new tyre and tube.

Unfortunately we were unable to source a 3.00 X 16 inch Dunlop tyre so we have had to settle for a 3.50 X 16 instead which makes everything a bit tight. The front anchor plate retaining pin has been recessed into the plate to ensure that it clears the tyre, but only just.

The angle of the short spokes made it a difficult job to ensure their correct seating position in the rim.
